Celtx makes screenwriting easier for beginner and amateur screenwriters. SLang (Story LANGuage)
SLang is a stand-alone Windows application for story development. It stores your story as a number of *events* each of which is given a name and a number of alternative textual descriptions. You may also specify rules which govern which events depend on which others. This information can then be used to generate a workable ordering of the events in your story, event dealing with multiple threads in a sensible way. You can also use this mechanism for experimenting with alternative *paths* through your story, or for finding the shortest/longest path from the start to a specified event. The program generates a trace, showing you how it made its decisions for ordering the events. The whole story can be exported to an RTF or TXT file.
