Movie Magic Screenwriter

Writing scripts for film, television, and theater has traditionally been a time-consuming task. There are many elements in a script (i.e. scene headings, character names, dialogue, scene breaks, etc.) that must be correctly placed in your script. Following these conventions is essential in making sure your script is receiving proper attention from agents, producers and contests. As with all Screenplay Systems software, Screenwriter suffers from over-zealous copy protection.

SLang (Story LANGuage)

SLang is a stand-alone Windows application for story development. It stores your story as a number of *events* each of which is given a name and a number of alternative textual descriptions. You may also specify rules which govern which events depend on which others. This information can then be used to generate a workable ordering of the events in your story, event dealing with multiple threads in a sensible way. You can also use this mechanism for experimenting with alternative *paths* through your story, or for finding the shortest/longest path from the start to a specified event. The program generates a trace, showing you how it made its decisions for ordering the events. The whole story can be exported to an RTF or TXT file.
