Film Arts at Langara College is an eight-month intensive, collaborative and comprehensive program for students with previous experience or education wishing to work in film as actors, writers, and/or directors. The curriculum has been developed by Alyson Drysdale, an independent filmmaker with an MFA in Film who has been teaching production, directing and screenplay writing at the University of British Columbia. Under Alyson's tutelage, former students have had tremendous success with their student productions winning prestigious awards and entry into international film festivals and procuring sought after positions in the film industry in Canada.
