The school is the first of its kind in Norway. The candidates from the school is now making a great impact to the Norwegian filmindustry. The filmindustry in Norway is growing and many of the new films in Norway is directed and produced with temas that have been working together ever since they established teams at the Filmschool. Films so far is "Kissed by Winter" (2005) directed by Sara JOhnsen. The short film "bawke" directed by Hisham Zaman. The last movie especially recognized by the Norwegian audience is "Fritt vilt", (http://www.nfi.no/english/norwegianfilms/show.html?id=698), a thriller, directed by Roar Uthaug. This film is also picked to Slamdance in Utah. Throughout their studies the students have received numerous prices at film festivals all over the world, and the school might in the coming year help place Norway as a filmindustry worth recognizing.
