Overview of the submissions process.

filmmaking.net is one of the busiest sites for independent filmmakers, so listing your service in the Links Directory represents a great way to drive traffic to your site.

Although we tend to use search engines like Google to find great websites these days, some of the best resources of the past were human-edited directories such as Yahoo! and DMOZ. We want to rekindle that spirit by building the best directory of websites for filmmakers on the Net.

Before suggesting a link, please review the submission guidelines.

Eligibility

Related to filmmaking - all sites must be directly-related to filmmaking and filmmakers.
No film schools - we have a seperate, dedicated area for film schools.
No software/apps - we also have a seperate, dedicated area for software and apps.
No film promotional websites - websites which simply promote the release of an individual film are not eligible.
No showreels - personal websites promoting your work as a director or actor are not eligible.
English language - submissions must be in English. This is an English-language site.
No automated submissions - we do not allow app submissions to be made using any automated or third-party service.

All website submissions are moderated by site editors. Sites that do not meet the elgibility criteria will never appear in our listings. Submission does not guarantee listing. Filmmaking.net also reserves the right to reject a submission without providing a reason.
