Reviews of Los Angeles City College

Bob Former Student, 27-Sep-2007
The program is getting a little moribund. Nearly all of the teachers are from the same generation and have been teaching there for a long time. Their interest level/enthusiasm seems low and some of their perspectives seem a little dated. On the bright side, there are a couple of new instructors who are excellent. The main reasons to go here are: 1. You cannot afford film school 2. It's in the middle of Hollywood, so you can make your own opportunities if you want to work in Hollywood.

Great school for film and television, If you are interested in film check this school out!
★★★★
Christopher Current Student, 05-Feb-2002
New student at LACC in the Spring 2002 semester and I started with the first 3 cinema classes. I will comment on this school as the semester continues. Regardless, this is a good choice for California residents and others interested in (but not necessarily commited to) film and television. Everthing seems to be in place but if you want that expensive university look than go pay $10,000+ a year elsewhere.

If you are a current or former student, or staff member, write a review.
