filmmaking.net does not invest in films based on an email solicitation; no-one does. Indeed, filmmaking.net does not invest in films at all! The best way to approach investors for you project is with a solid business plan and full prospectus covering your project.
However, you should be aware that it is illegal in many countries to publicly solicit for investors without going through the proper channels. Consult your lawyer before even thinking about investment issues. A lawyer's fees are always going to be cheaper than the fine you will receive for breaking your country's securities laws, or the lawsuit you will have to deal with if you've managed to get investors onboard without the right investment structures in place.
